Obamacare is More Proof that Central Planning Fails
Sovereign Solutions Editor’s Note:
The big take away from the featured article is not even the application of healthcare necessarily.
I have noted again and again and again, through various posts on this website, that what we individually contend with much of the time in so many important pursuits is some sort of organized, self-serving, and fraudulent/force-based RUBE GOLDBERG system.
What the author of the featured article does so well, within the important context of US healthcare markets, is help to succinctly articulate the very fact that what we have here is, indeed, what I contend repeatedly and vociferously, if not then passionately!
From the article:
Obamacare is known by its official name: the Affordable Care Act. As I’ve said often, one constant in politics is that the law being considered will do the exact opposite of what the politicians say it will do. Another constant is that politicians will create a problem, create a solution for the problem they created that creates more problems, then create another problem-causing solution to follow. And they always require more money.
Obamacare is no exception.
Since politics is inherently and significantly force-based, rooted in initiating FORCE, FRAUD, and COERCION [See the Non-aggression principle for how to spot and work against this!], the results in corresponding markets trends towards profitable complications to the major movers and shakers involved in the process.
And the thing is this:
It is impossible to avoid when the magic wand of political solutions is so well entrenched in the public hive mind.
Do not dismay though.
There ARE solutions, after all!
The author of the featured article, which I do recommend you read in its completion, makes a quick, efficient, and effective, I think, generalized set of actions that as individuals we each can take to better keep ourselves healthy, both physically as well as financially:
The real solution is to turn to a free market in which consumers either negotiate costs directly with insurance companies for coverage they need at a cost they can afford, or better, where the consumer negotiates prices and treatment directly with the healthcare provider.
Of course, the best solution of all is for Americans to take charge of their own health and avoid modern medicine at all costs.Obamacare’s real costs are not counted in dollars. That’s because modern medicine is not “healthcare,” but sickness care.
It is high time to kick the Liars, Looters, and Losers that dream up, create, and sustain intentionally complex RUBE GOLDBERG succubi systems out of our lives. To do that, though, we need to kick out politics and the degree to which we expect and yearn for an impossible FREE LUNCH.
